About Me

My name is Florina and I'm currently an Interactive Animator & Motion Designer — interdisciplinary artist born and raised in Hanoi and currently located in Ho Chi Minh city. I create works that lives at the intersection of technology and imagination — where visuals, language, and movement come together to create experiences that feel both intentional and otherworldly.

Graduated from Lawrence University in 2020 with a BA in Mathematics and Studio Arts specializing in Integrated Design, I had my early journey in Branding, Graphic Design, and digital art which shaped the analytical and conceptual foundation behind my practice today. These disciplines trained me to see patterns, forms, and rhythm — skills that now anchor my approach to motion.

Numbers and visual arts has been the common ground to how I communicate with the world. They taught me that precision can hold poetry, and that structure often deepens creative expression. This duality fuels my fascination with how technology, movement, and aesthetics can merge to build new kinds of visual experiences.

As a motion designer, I’m drawn to world-building — to the subtle ways light, texture, and motion can create an atmosphere. My work blends 2D and 3D techniques, digital sculpting, and experimental visuals to build pieces that feel immersive, ethereal, and intentionally crafted. More recently, that fascination has pulled me into interactive animation — building worlds in Rive that don't just play, but respond, with state-driven motion that reacts to the person on the other side of the screen. I'm continually exploring how motion, whether linear or interactive, can shift perception, evoke emotion, and bring stories into a dimensional, breathing form.

Outside of the screen, I'm constantly pulling inspiration from music, film, fashion, and food — a mix that keeps my visual instincts sharp and my cultural references current.
